Advanced Ads – Google Ad Manager Integration

To integrate Advanced Ads with Google Ad Manager, you must first enable API access in your Ad Manager account and then connect your account from the Advanced Ads plugin dashboard in WordPress. This integration allows you to automatically pull and place ad units from your Ad Manager account on your website without manually coding the Google Publisher Tags (GPT)

tep 1: Enable API access in Google Ad Manager

1. Sign in to your Google Ad Manager account.
2. Navigate to Admin > Global Settings > Network Settings > General Settings.
3. Fill in a value for the "Display name" field if you haven't already.
4. Tick the box next to Enable API access.
5. Click Save. 

Step 2: Connect Advanced Ads to Google Ad Manager

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Advanced Ads > Settings.
2. Click on the Google Ad Manager tab.
3. Click the Connect account button.
4. You will be redirected to Google to sign in to the account associated with your Ad Manager network and grant permissions.
5. Copy the verification code that is provided.
6. Paste the code back into the Advanced Ads settings page and click Submit. 

Step 3: Import and place your ad units

1. Once your account is connected, go to Advanced Ads > Ads.
2. Click New Ad and choose "Google Ad Manager" as the ad type.
3. The plugin will list all the available ad units from your Ad Manager account. You can also import them in bulk.
4. Select the ad unit you want to place on your site.
5. Configure display and visitor conditions to define where and to whom the ad should be shown.
6. Choose a placement for the ad (e.g., in a widget, after a specific paragraph, or at the bottom of the content).
7. Publish the ad. The plugin will handle the implementation of the Google Publisher Tags for you.
