Because AMP strips away standard JavaScript for faster loading, regular ads are not compatible. This add-on automatically converts your ads to the AMP format, ensuring they display correctly and perform optimally on your AMP-enabled pages.

How to get started with AMP ads

1. Install the AMP Ads add-on: Purchase and install the AMP Ads add-on. It is also included in the Advanced Ads All Access bundle.
2. Use an AMP plugin: You must have a compatible AMP plugin installed on your WordPress site, such as the official AMP plugin by Automattic.
3. Create your ads:
   • For AdSense, create a standard AdSense ad in Advanced Ads. The AMP Ads add-on will automatically convert it when needed.
   • For other networks, create a new ad and choose the "AMP Ad" type. Then, input the required parameters provided by that network.
4. Add the AMP display condition: To ensure only AMP-compatible ads show on your AMP pages, add the "Accelerated Mobile Pages" display condition to your ad or placement.
5. Place your ads: Place your ads on your site as you normally would with placements, widgets, or shortcodes. The plugin will handle the correct output for both AMP and non-AMP versions of your pages.
